Tennessee Valley Music Festival (TVMF) is a premiere music day festival for all levels of string students as well as intermediate and advanced woodwinds, brass, and percussion students. You do not need to be a member of HYO to participate! We invite you to join the Huntsville Youth Orchestra for an intense and highly motivating week of music study!

Students at TVMF are under the leadership and guidance of professional musicians from all over the U.S. that come to Rocket City to inspire and train our young musicians.

Ensemble performance in band and/or orchestra will be emphasized and TVMF will conclude on Saturday with two Grand Finale concerts for parents, relatives, friends, and the community. Special topic classes, as well as recital performances and sectional rehearsals by the TVMF Faculty members will serve to balance the total program.

TVMF 2024: The Music of Friendship

Experience the harmonies of camaraderie at TVMF 2024: The Music of Friendship. Twickenham Symphony pays homage to the friendship of Brahms and Dvorak. TN Valley Philharmonic celebrates the bonds of Ravel and Gershwin with iconic pieces like "Bolero" and "Rhapsody in Blue.” The Festival Orchestra weaves the tapestry of Elgar’s “Enigma Variations,” a tribute to cherished relationships. Embracing a diverse array of compositional voices, we strive to offer a rich and inclusive musical journey for all.
